African Futures Conference 2026

Day One — Online Participant Evaluation

Thank you for joining day one of the Futures Conference. Please take 3–5 minutes to share your feedback on the sessions you attended.

Your privacy

The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) collects your responses to evaluate the conference, understand the audience reached and improve future events.

Participation is voluntary. You may skip any evaluation or demographic question. Choosing not to participate has no consequences.

Individual responses will be accessible to the African Futures and Innovation (AFI) team. Findings will be reported in summary form, with demographic categories combined where necessary to avoid identifying individuals.

Responses will be kept for six months after submission, then securely deleted. Aggregated findings that do not identify participants may be retained for reporting and planning.

We do not ask for your name or email address. Please avoid including names, contact details or other identifying information in written answers.

Read our privacy policy. For survey enquiries, withdrawal of consent, or requests concerning access, correction or deletion of your personal information, contact Du Toit McLachlan at dmclachlan@issafrica.org. Formal requests will be referred to the appropriate ISS officer. If we cannot identify your response, we may be unable to retrieve or delete it individually.

Information about formal access-to-records requests is available on the ISS Access to Information page. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

ISS Pretoria: Block C, Brooklyn Court, 361 Veale Street, New Muckleneuk, Pretoria, 0181, South Africa.

Participants under 18 may contact dmclachlan@issafrica.org about providing feedback through an appropriate parental or guardian consent process.
